This statement is ALMOST tautological, to the extent of
being needless to SAY. A person is by default an editor when
he contributes, so the statement that contribution is only from
own editors is AUTOMATICALLY true, so what is alf trying
to say?

YES IT IS! I have begged you all to do the BBS, didn't I? How
many are doing it? YOU? Did you do anything to incorporate a
slashdot like bbs into the portal. When that is done, the portal will
run by itself without us doing anything. HOW MANY have listened
to me? YOU? I have told you all that the BBS will also function
as a file exchange area, did not I? (Please do not tell me that you
have forgotten, I do not take nicely to that, as I did not take nicely
to you not even knowing that linux.org.sg was owned by LUGS).
I need to do so many administrative and marketing stuff that I nearly
do not have time for anything else, other than high level project
management. Now the top of my list is the keyboard evaluation,
Eugene has to do evaluation on SuSE. Only a couple is left to do
the slashdot like BBS. DID YOU DO ANYTHING TO HELP?
If you want something in the Portal, DO IT YOURSELF, for god
sake. Stop complaining. If you can do a better job planning all the
marketing, recruitment and administrative issues, YOU TAKE
OVER ME. I have enough of your whinings.
The vision has all along been there, I have laid down already in
"Work In Progress" what is needed to be done to reach those ideals.
Have YOU executed those plans? We know what is needed, Have
YOU done anything to do those?
We already see a noticeable acceleration of development/improvement
after we get the server, please do not shoot yourself in the leg when
all that we have planned is going to be a reality soon. You have a problem
with what we have planned, counter plan and present to us, if not
execute those plans.

We have a work plan for SLP. We KNOW that a forum needs to be
constructed. YOUR JOB is to execute those plans. If you have a better
plan, propose it here.

We are supposed to have this area, LONG LONG TIME
ago.
