No compression on the ISDN protocol itself, but alot of equipment supports
STAC compression for ISDN lines. Obviously both ends have to support
it to make it work.
Also, if you multilink nx64k lines togeter, say 128k, you then lose a
percentage of that overall speed due to the extra overhead the MPPP
protocol uses on that line to aggregate the channels together.

For Telstra Onramp Xpress
64k on NDD1 = $3300 pa = $275pm
128k on NDD1 = $5940 pa = $495pm
NDD1 != < 25km ... more of a local call zone with lots of conditions on
bridging zones and local call collect areas.
