I certainly agree that either Robert Elz needs to get his act into gear, or
he is way too snowed under and needs help. I find it hard to imagine there
are not other people involved here.
To his credit however, is that he does register .org.au for free (just takes
4 friggin months!) and i belive he did decline shares in MelbourneIT when it
went IPO. So to some extent he is sticking to his word. Its possible that
.com.au cost just covers the admin work. But hey it cant be that hard. I
spose as well that someone has to pay for munnari.oz.au and the other root
server we have jatz.aarnet or something. They must chew bandwidth and be
beasts of machines. Anyone got any stats on this sort of thing?
