Org.au takes less than a week when all the necessary information is
supplied correctly to Robert. If something isn't correct (for example,
one of the listed name servers isn't authoritative, or the application
contravenes org.au policy in some way), then it will be put aside for
processing when he has time to look into the problem.
Robert has stated in the past that he feels people should use other
registries in most cases - com.au, net.au or asn.au. I suspect this is
a common reason for him to sit on applications - evidence that they
aren't appropriate may speed along applications. The policy doc
states:
8) Organisations which seem more appropriate for one of the other sub-domains
of AU (COM.AU, NET.AU, ASN.AU, etc) may be referred to them.
