Note that I don't make our T&C Policy, that's up to the companies legal
people. I just work here, etc, etc... Nevertheless, we don't care what
you do with your PC as long as it doesn't adversely affect our operations.
We just have a different view of "what adversely affects our operations" than
do people running always-connected-(sort of)-permanent-IP systems.
Personally, I think that if they want to say "no servers" that's fine, it's
their business. It's also fine to say "no thanks" and take you're business
elsewhere.
It's *also* fine to say "I want to use your service, but XXX in your contract
is a problem. Can we resolve it?".
Consumer pressure. Enough of it can shift the stubbornest company.
(Sounds like a soap commercial. "Get rid of those problem clauses with New
Enzyme-enriched Consumer Pressure(tm)")
