I have been trying to do this for months. I have a VPN connecton to another network, still can not manage the Airbirdges. I have latest firmware, and SImple Monitor. Just won't work.
These problems are hard to debug without a drawing of your network and information about the configuration on your router(s), administration PC and airBridges.
Make sure that the Primary (DHCP) port on all radios are set to the direction of the router.
i.e.:
VPN gateway --- aPPO ~~~ aB -- Client PC
Primary port on the aPPO should be set to ethernet, and on the aB to Wireless.
