I have been trying to do this for months. I have a VPN connecton to another network, still can not manage the Airbirdges. I have latest firmware, and SImple Monitor. Just won't work. If you are in the different subnet range, you need to enter the IP address by manually. Before doing that, please make sure that to PING that subnet IP address. If you are in the public internet network, you can configure with Public IP address or through VPN to reach the network. Also you can use our SimpleNMS to manage the sb devices remotely.
