I agree with John we cant keep coming up with "Band-Aids" to fix problems
that are inherent these units we need absolute resolution to help fix these
types of problems from smart bridges end.

Thats like saying HMM this wing has a problem on the F-14 lets ad some gum
or duct tape to correct it and call it fixed. Sooner or later the Band-Aid
and or duct tape is going to give and the system will crash again and again.

Would you want someone working on your private vehicle doing Hodge podge
fixes just to get something to work half ass?? Our lively hood depends on
how well your product performs. If you cant make it perform tell us now and
we will move to something else? Or make it so that it will perform like it
was intended to..

I love this stuff and the price point but, I hope the nexus is going to be
MUCH better in terms of quality and reliability! If not no sense of going
further with the project..

Alex,

The path is about 15 feet across the room, using the rubber duckie antennas
so I don't think it is an antenna alignment issue or a signal strength
issue. A second airpoint pro substituted for this unit does not exhibit the
problem.

As far as changing the IP address fixing the first problem, I now have an
airpoint pro that is on a completely different subnet from any of the other
equipment. It makes it difficult to manage when it is not using the address
ranges that everything else in you network uses. I would not call that
fixing the problem.

John
