The worst part is that I am doing all of this essentially as a favor to sB to try and diagnose the problem for their benefit. I really could have left everything in PtMP mode and been happy, but I noticed the units would not work properly as access points, so I dug deeper.
This lock-out "feature" is the last straw - it was a nightmare for me. The next time I find something that doesn't work right, I'm sending it back and letting them figure it out for themselves.
