That would be a question for Vasu. But if it's the same gut as an APPO, it won't know it's own antenna. It's academic though, as long as the power level is set to 17.5 you're at max output no matter what the antenna is. That antenna selection thing is only for the sake of calculating the full (gain) output of the combination (radio/antenna). It has no affect on the radio itself.
