Hi Vasu.

The only way I could get this to work was to set to Access Point
operational mode on the AP and the airBridge synch'd right up.

Am I losing anything by running this way as opposed to getting two AP's
instead? I only need a fast-as-possible point to point backhaul.

Also, what should the antenna setting be under Dial-A-Power for the
TOTAL units?

You can use the normal AP and client device, to have a link, unless you have
two access points you can use in the wireless bridge mode, creating a point
to point link.

With Best Regards,

I have an airBridge TOTAL and an airPoint TOTAL.

I want to create a simple backhaul and don't know which mode is best for me.

I simply want to bridge one LAN to another LAN, point to point. The distance
is about 1000'.

What is the best mode to configure this as? Reading the manual, it seems
that maybe I should be using two airPoints instead of an airPoint and an
airBridge?

Also, under the Dial-A-Power is lists my Antenna Type as being a 2.2, is
that correct?

Thanks!!
Rick
