Yeah, thanks. I ended up ordering the 418-TR1518-12 from Mouser Electronics. I hope that works. My run is for only 175 ft, give or take a few.

I'm not in at the beginning of this thread, but Mouser electronics sells the 18v 1A power supply. Mouser.com 418-TR2518-12 $14.99 each They have some others as well, but this one fits the bill nicely. You will need to cut the plug off the output side a flop the wires to correct the polarity, but that should not be a big problem. Kevin B. I also have a 15V which I am going to try. I guess you adjust up just enough to ensure your radio has enough power to perform, or do you think you might harm the radio by not giving it enough power too? -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Breiland, Derek Sent: Friday, November 07, 2003 2:13 PM To: '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' Subject: RE: [smartBridges] 18v power? I do not mean FCC certification. I mean Smartbridges hooking it up in their lab and putting it through its courses to cerify that yes it provides the necessary power and no it will no burn up your radio. -----Original Message----- From: John Hokenson [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, November 07, 2003 1:01 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [smartBridges] 18v power? Their standard response was to recomend this one after I looked it up--as for "certification" I guess that is a matter of semantics. The only part FCC certified is the radio/feedline/antenna combination.
