John,

You are losing association.  Thats plane and simple.  The ABO's do that 
crap if they lose association and can't re-associate quickly (they change 
their ESSID to garbage)..  Thats why we started burning in the AP's name 
as the default config..  But as far as I know.. ABO's going like this do 
not affect the AP's (We use Cisco and we didn't see this crap). 

What Pre-amble length are you using.  On the Cisco's (per AB's 
suggestion) we switched to long and it helped... but the fact that you 
WET-11 light is blinking indicates I think you are having signal issues.
