The following posting from Kevin Summers (looks like we've got most of the
seasons covered ! bw).
This is EXACTLY what is required if the 172Mhz transmissions are actually
causing the problem.  I had no idea they came in so cheap these days !!
Well worth a try.  This'll sort out desens and any intermods too.  Does
anyone have a UK source ?

www.teletronics.com. Get one of their bandpass filters. It unfortunately
introduces -3db loss, but if you put it between your radio and the antenna
it will likely solve the problem. They are cheap enough to give it a try
anyway.
