Brian, Thanks for your repsonse... No, no amp @ both ends of the link. Just at the AP at the tower.
The injector in the shed is a DC injector...we are injecting power over coax to run the amp. The 172Mhz antenna is approx 25 feet from the radio card, and is pointed in the radio card's general direction (maybe 20 degrees off). This 172Mhz stuff is for monitoring equipment for the water tower stuff...if certain events occur, an alarm is triggered and the radio transmits this info back to a central location (like if the water level falls below a certain point). Unless we change APs, we can't put them on the tower...they are indoor units. We might have to resort to this. Being from the country, I'll do what ever it takes to get this working again...you name it...duct tape, tin foil, etc. How would one go about making a "reflector" to divert the unwanted 172Mhz away from the 2.4Ghz radio card?
