Thanks for the info...how does one "burn" the AP's name as the default config?

I am using the default pre-amble...whatever that is.  Haven't changed this.  If 
this wasn't set correctly, could it hose the AP?

And yes, my first concern was that of signal issues.  I noticed a vertically 
polarized Yagi down on the roof of the shed at the tower (all of our stuff is 
at the top of the tower).  Upon further inspection, I found that it operates 
near 172 Mhz...could this be interfering with our stuff?  I really hope not...

Also, we have an amp on our omni antenna.  The injector for this is down in the 
shed.  I wonder if the amp is flaking out?  I guess I could just bypass the 
injector and go straight into the card...effectively turning "off" the amp.
