Hi there! NB, please discuss everything on the smartphones-userland mailing list, I set R-T and M-F-T accordingly, TIA.
I (finally) took the time to install Debian on my GTA01, thus adding the support for it to the install.sh script: http://git.debian.org/?p=pkg-fso/files.git;a=commitdiff;h=35c912d26c68793fb91b00df8bd4a5c74b0b8b19 The major problem is the kernel: since the GTA02 one does not boot, I simply copied the FSO-MS5 one by hand. I am against another kernel package just for the GTA01, especially because my aim is having a single kernel package for (similar) Samsung S3C-based devices: http://bugs.debian.org/503292 Because of this major improvement, I bumped the script VERSION to 2.0. The next step will be to merge any relevant difference WRT the GTA01 script at http://wiki.debian.org/DebianOnNeo1973 I would also like to have one single wiki page for both devices WRT the installation procedure, with everything else in the Tips pages. My plan is now to use as much as possible GTA01 as a real phone, in order to spot problems. This will mean that my GTA02 can be stressed a bit more with tests, since I do not need always on and connected to GSM. Thx, bye, Gismo / Luca
