Interesting you quoted that one, notice it says Jesus prayed for Peter that his "faith might not fail" ...apparently then it could. Sure Peter messed up and repented and was used greater than before. However, it would have been a far different story had he denied Jesus and not repented of that fact.....
i think were all on the same wavelength here its just being worded diffrent. if you fail and repent thats not losing your salvation losing your salvation would be not repenting and giving up on God. this is basically what your saying correct? because i know thats what i was talking about.
