Just read a book by a Japanese physicist at ?? university in New York -
unfortunately his name escapes me, must be getting old.  He went into great
detail about dark matter and so forth, easy to read -especially for old guys
who last took physics 40 years ago- clear explanations, and lots of material
about future discoveries.

No, neutrinos can't account for dark matter. Then again, we don't know
of anything that can except for things that we don't know exist - e.g.
undiscovered fundamental particles, interactions with a parallel
universe (yes, some people have theorized this, I saw a seminar about
Brane Theory that touched on the subject).
