Hanging while drawing the viewports often indicates a problem with the graphic card display driver.
If you modify the default layout to hide the OpenGL viewports, does Softimage start up? http://usa.autodesk.com/getdoc/id=TS14691242 Can xsibatch run ? Try running a script with xsibatch Eg echo LogMessage\(\"Hello\"\) > /var/tmp/test.js xsibatch -processing -script /var/tmp/test.js The dropbox and flash stuff was just stuff that customer wanted, so he added it to his recipe. -----Original Message----- From: softimage-boun...@listproc.autodesk.com [mailto:softimage-boun...@listproc.autodesk.com] On Behalf Of Christoph Muetze Sent: May-22-12 12:06 PM To: softimage@listproc.autodesk.com Subject: Re: Softimage and Fedora14 - help please!
