I now just need to confirm that the PPP I see on the CD/DVD is PPP 4.0.
As I said in reply to Stoyan maybe solaris has not changed the name of the software to PPP 4.0 leaving it as PPP but that maybe I will find that
the actual packages include those that Stoyan mentioned in his reply. I shall check again this evening.

07/03 is later than 10/01 because it is about dates. 07 month and 03
year is later and so newer that the 10 month and 01 year.
