hello Anthony, full installation + OEM is around 1.2Gb without the needed swap space. i would recommend that you use the "interactive installation". to do that you should use the CD labeled: Solaris 8 Software 1 of 2 - the cd is bootable and you could choose either to upgrade your existing installation or to do a fresh install.
