The segfaults and the general "unstability" is the reason of the Pyrex rewrite, as Pyrex automatically performs type-check, i hope the new version will be more stable.

The current pyrex version is usable but is still very limited (no landscape, file format is still undetermined,...).
Are there lots of people who really want it ? If so, i may put tarball or ask a friend for setting up a temporary cvs ?
I'm not exactly all that excited about hacking on 3d engines, but I would certainly be interested in having access to your rewrite, and I might hack here and there since it's in Pyrex now instead of C. :-)
I strongly suggest you get a CVS somewhere. Hacking without an RCS is terrible! And if you get one, might as well make it public. Even Sourceforge (or savannah or whatever) is better than nothing.
