The segfaults and the general "unstability" is the reason of the Pyrex

Great :-)

The current pyrex version is usable but is still very limited (no
landscape, file format is still undetermined,...).

Are there lots of people who really want it ? If so, i may put tarball
or ask a friend for setting up a temporary cvs ?

I'm not exactly all that excited about hacking on 3d engines, but I would certainly be interested in having access to your rewrite, and I might hack here and there since it's in Pyrex now instead of C. :-)

I strongly suggest you get a CVS somewhere. Hacking without an RCS is terrible! And if you get one, might as well make it public. Even Sourceforge (or savannah or whatever) is better than nothing.
