All this from a guy who's state Gov. is shut down. I suppose you'd want to
be paid for this too? FMK? Got to be something that rimes with that.
Probably not allowed on the forum.
Back to topic:
Most Motel/Hotels have at least one person on front desk 24/7, when we've
had a system "Out Of Service" The local AHJ required logged inspections of
all un-occupied rooms and spaces every hour. (Typically they had their
Security Service perform this function.)

You bet I would. In the words of the great Eric Cartmen "You will respect
my
AUTHORITI....!" (Some of you may have just got that one)
As far as being tough, I don't know. I remember hearing several stories
from
the hotel manager of a hotel that I stayed at (undisclosed location
[sprinkler witness protection program]) for TWO YEARS that he was
threatened
with a shut down several times for being a day late with scheduling his
inspections with the city or not having his "papers" in order. They
considered THAT to be an impairment.
I don't know I would qualify as the worst, but I think it would be fun for
a
little while. :)
But nothing is as interesting as sprinkler design. (are ya readin' this
George???)
Fire Marshal Ken....I like that. What do ya say John D. - lookin' for a
deputy. Lol!

You would be one tough AHJ.
I don't believe he would be required to shut down but would have to
implement an impairment procedure, part of which is a manned fire
watch 24/7. I am sure there are some occupancies that would entail
shutting down the operation, for instance high hazard occupancies,
high occupant facilities (aka The Station), etc. I'll let our AHJ
friends chime in on the specifics.
