Speaking of people using their heads (or NOT)- And I'll keep it brief, and have mentioned it before-
9:30 PM +/- on 9/11/01 the Fire Alarm went off when Cath and I were finishing up dinner at the hotel restaurant, early for the canceled AFSA convention at Boca. We're the only ones to get up and leave. Didn't notice any guests exiting the hotel, either, although we didn't see all exits. Naturally anyone there had seen tv coverage of death and destruction all day. If the need to exit a building when the alarms went off didn't sink in that night, it never will. Ever since I assume the worst and lean heavily toward automatic anything, assume people won't do the obvious. glc -----Original Message----- Subject: Re: pool as water source <SNIP> The second point is if the building is on fire, what are you doing in the pool. Oh yeah I forgot we're talking about people using their heads! Forget that question.
