I will stick my neck out to say that I have used 5.6 and K=8 sprinklers to
reduce flow in ducts and plenums vs. the main booth area. They can't really
be mixed with1/2" and 3/4" IPT. Any criticisms?

Subject: Mixing k-factors in paintspray booths

Forum Members,

Can I use a smaller k-factor sprinkler in the pit and exhaust plenum of a
paint spray booth?

Due to the geometry of the pit and exhaust plenum. The sprinklers in there
are covering about 36 square feet per sprinkler.

Any insight would be appreciated.
