Chris,
Yes you would consider a dry system. I can remember many broken
pipes around LA. The coast isn't as bad, but it does get cold there. Don't
forget the Jet Stream. It dips down into LA for a lot of the winter months.
It starts the upswing somewhere around Birmingham, AL. I drove through 3
inches of snow back in Dec or Jan(?) down around those Central
Parishes/Counties.

Subject: Gulf Coast
Note I'm a little north of the Gulf Coast if this question sounds a little
odd. Would you be looking at a dry system in an unheated warehouse within
say 5 miles of the northern Gulf Coast? Seriously I know it can get cool by
our standards down there but it ain't cold. But for how long? Even a day
or 2 in the mid 20's would that cause a freeze up problem in a 100,000
sq.ft. plus building? Just wondering what the norm is for dealing with cool
weather. I know I've been in the Tampa and Orlando area and seen plenty of
exterior wet risers not to mention the double checks off the UG. My
question is a little more LA specific.
