Just how cold does LA get? I spent my first thirty-five years in the bay area with a couple in Livermore and then down to Santa Cruz and I remember snow on on the ground in 1955 for most of the day, snow hitting the ground in 1967 and snow getting to within three feet of the ground sometime in the early Seventies. I left in 1986 for the Pathetic NorthWet and so there may have been a massive climate shift in the south. On Thu, Nov 12, 2009 at 1:35 PM, Matthew J.
