Hello everyone,

I wanted everyone to see a new 30 second promo we put together for the Fire
Sprinkler Academy. It has been a real blast seeing the students grow and get
real serious about a job that saves lives. (I know that Roland, Phil and Tom
can relate..)

I really do wish I had been able to attend something like this when I got
started (cue the "Old Guy" stories about the Automatic and Grinnell days....).
I didn't have that privilege. I learned just like everybody else: From
somebody that was trying to figure it all out ... and they had learned from
someone that was trying to figure it all out.

Thank goodness for Cal Morrow dropping off his books when he retired, those
books gave me a deep desire to learn more. (If you don't know the name of Cal
Morrow, ask someone in the AFSA Carolina's Chapter....) I still look back in
those books at the cost of a foot of pipe in 1957 and marvel. And while the
labor hours haven't changed too much, the rates sure have!

Anyway, we have one semester down and three more to go! Enjoy the video.
