Another question: when replacing heads engaged into adjustible drop nipples mfr by Viking, in 1970 era, half inch pipe for drop nipple, sprinkler is k 5.6 Is it acceptable to replace sprinkler into the drop nipple? Viking does not list any heads for use with these drop nipples presently.
