Does the fan blades of small fans (60in or under) need to be accounted for when applying NFPA 13 (10ed) section 8.12.5.2 or just the fan motor and housing?
In the appendix they talk about high volume low speed fans with large diameters (20ft) requiring both the fan blades and the motor unit to satisfy 8.12.5.2. Just out of curiosity, how would one go about placing sprinklers to comply with something like this? Just put additional sprinklers under the outside edge of the fan blades?
