Can't do it for that reason Steve. If they were acceptable at installation
then calling them out that way would be beyond the scope of NFPA 25 and the
expertise of the technician. That is unless the tech is also a PE and is
willing to make that call as part of the cost of an inspection. Of course
if you don't point it out in some way and the place burns any half-assed
lawyer can convince any jury that the tech, and by extension his employer,
is incompetent, negligent, and liable.
