I thought I had the official release because I downloaded it from the main download page at Slimdevices. I will have a look at those web sites. The lap top has not lost its connection since I turned it on. As an experiment I turned on my Boom (with my main comput=er still off) and was able to connect to internet radio through mysqueezebox.com but after 10 minutes disconnected on its own and then reconnected spontaneously.
