Just a thought, there is probably going to need to be a time when you'll
need to boot the machine off the System CD-ROM, so it would be a good idea
to make sure that whatever drive (CD-ROM, CD-RW, etc) you buy will let you
boot the 'Max off it.

There was a little project a while back to compile a list of drives that
support this, I don't know what became of it, I had a quick look on the
StarMax 4000 page:

on LEM and I don't see this information. Perhaps someone else will know what
became of it.
