Ebay, just look in the Apple section: http://computers.listings.ebay.com/Apple-Macintosh-Computers_W0QQfromZR4QQfsooZ1QQfsopZ1QQ lopgZ2QQsacatZ4599QQsocmdZListingItemList The S900 came with a 2 or 4GB drive 50 pin SCSI drive and should be several on Ebay anytime. And as mentioned very few people are using them anymore so you are in luck pricewise. I think I paid $50.00 for one several years ago and you can get them now for about $10.00. Here's a list of SCSI drives on Ebay currently: http://search.ebay.com/SCSI-drive_Hard-Drives_W0QQcatrefZC12QQfromZR10QQfsooZ1QQfsopZ1QQ ftrtZ1QQftrvZ1QQsacatZ80042 > > How small are we talking I mainly want to use it for scanning as I have a > scsi scanner but don't want to fork out for a scsi adaptor for my ibook G4 > as ive looked into them and if I can get this umax working the scanners a > good one old but damn good, came from a designer. > > Brian > Make sure it's a true 50pin SCSI and not a 68 or 80pin drive with an adapter because they can be a pin sometimes. A 50pin SCSI ut of a Mac will plug in and can be formatted using your OS 9 CD utilities and install OS 9 with no problems at all. 2GB will be plenty of space for a scanning station but 4GB would be better for Photoshop. My favotite SCSI's are Quantum brand becuse I have had several and they se em to last longer. -- Ron http://krowmagnum.4mg.com/ -- SuperMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
