Perhaps this is most apparent in Windows? In linux 'Preferences' has a
'Maximize' control button (Minimize, Maximize, Close) whereas 'Account
Settings' does not. However, in both they can be resized by using he
mouse (grab the boarders & drag to resize) as well as a 'Menu' button
that can be used instead.
