Using a paralel ip driver (plip.com) from the crin packet driver
collection, and a program called rlfossil (mentioned here before) you can
then use any comm program that allows you to use fossil drivers (commo is
one of these) and access your paralel port for transferrs via linux using
ppp (if you've got it setup properly) but as for just a standard
connection to the paralel port, I've yet to find any standard com program
that can handle it.  I've suggested it to the author of commo, but he
seems unwilling to add support for such.  He claims there would nobody who
wanted the feature, and so would be a waste of time to support.
