As I don't know "interlnk/intersvr" (where's that to find ?) I couldn't
comment on its properties.
But in any case "around half a meg in size" would definitely class it
off for use with DOS.

I still have to look at Laplink too, mentioned by Constant Brouerius van
Nidek on: Sat, 3 Apr 1999  - with 86 KB somewhat more modest already.

I have used a thing called "Shareweb" for a while, which needs about
70 KB and worked quite nicely (but over serial ports). Disadvanteage
with that is that it cannot be unloaded; and going serial, it isn't
the fastest either.

But my idea is rather something like the Klaus Peichl/Stefan Keachel
ZIPdisk driver which is rather 3 KB (yes Kilo-, not Megabyte); and it
loads only if the (Zip)drive is live, thus with power off of the Zip
it wouldn't even use those 3 K.
If I remember right they even had posted something here lately which
made me wonder if they're not already working on it.
