I just received some information on CP/M from someone. In
case it's useful to you, here is a quote from that
message.
--------- Start quote: --------------
1. the Unofficial CP/M web site (http://cdl.uta.edu/cpm)
from which you can download almost all the software that
Digital Research (the company that created CP/M) ever
produced. Yes, it is now in the public domain for
noncommercial use. The site also has manuals for CP/M in
text, HTML and postscript versions.
2. The commercial CP/M archive
(http://deltasoft.fife.wa.us/cpm) from which you can
download most of the common software ever produced for
CP/M (like Wordstar). The guy who put software up on this
site has not done so legally, but has done it under the
assumption that if the current copyright holders of this
software (wherever they may be) care to complain, he will
take the software off. So far, there have apparently been
very few complaints...
--------- End Quote ---------------------
Cheers,
Ole Juul
