Okay......I have read some internet help files and some HOWTO files and to
be honest, IP masquerading is still not making sense to me.
Okay........right now I have 2 computers (about to get another one in 2
months).
1 is a Win95 based box
1 is SuSE 5.3
Now on the SuSE box I have 2 NICS......
1 NIC is an AMD chip based NIC, and the other is a NE2000 compatible ISA
card.
The Win95 box has a NE2000 compatible SMC PCI card.
Now, I have my cable modem connected to the AMD NIC and I can surf the net
quite well and everything seems to be okay with the config of the AMD and
the Cable Modem.
However, I think that Linux has not detected my ISA (kingston) card.
The Kingston is connected to a 5 port hub.
When I had Win95 on both machines, I just set Sygate to use the AMD as the
INTERNET NIC and the Kingston ISA as the LAN card.
I hope this is enough information for you Linux Gurus to help me.
