If looking for something featurerich that comes with another product
which offers a great deal of configuration options, I would have to
suggest tkdesk 1.1. It has editors, file management, a nice task bar
that one can add to easily, and several other nice touches. The editor
which ships with tkdesk acts in concert with several menu items to give
the user a lot of control over his or her desktop and console
environment.
