I did my entire thesis using wordstar or something on a Radio Shack TRS
80. Try managing 200,000 artifacts with 3 x 5 cards. I would have
honestly appreciated word, excel, and access97 to manage the quantities
of archeological materials I had to deal with. Not anything against
nedit and latex but I would have even taken wordimperfect 5.1 (which
was anything but imperfect when I used it later on).
