I agree with Karl's concerns, and Jon's transfer of them to Tompkins 
County.  On the bright side, I see an opportunity here, an opportunity 
for people to learn farming, even if the market is artificial, and get 
started more easily than they would otherwise.

It looks like things are already starting to slip, though, so I wonder 
how long we have to make these things work.
