Yep, I had found your work through Google, but only after sending my messages, so I thought "aw heck, he'll talk if he's still behind it, I don't want to pressure Vladimir into coming forth" :-)

Jo, if you are interested in playing around with it, I can give you
admin access to the Jenkins instance (and, if needed, Ondřej can set
you up with shell access on the linode server, but I think it
shouldn't be needed).

I'd love to, but right now, I'm too time-constrained to do more than cheer from the sideline. Besides, I'm still struggling with the details of git; I'd like to get proficient with it before getting into yet another toolchain. In the long term, I might be able to set up a Jenkins instance myself. I'm not sure whether that would be a long-term solution, but it would be a good exercise to see how well the installation instructions work (e.g. in case we need to move the testing infrastructure to some other server).

Overall, the question is which route is going to be less work for the Sympy project. Right now, it seems like that would be Jenkins, but then I might be overestimating the work needed for the alternatives. (Even if Jenkins worked right out of the box, it would not be work-free.)

Regards,
Jo
