Yes, this is one of the reasons we track how the feed is created.  It gives
us a chance to work with the site/tool developers first, before giving the
site author a hard time about it.  There's "nothing" they can do
immediately.  But it IS something that needs fixing.  Seeing how blogger's
one of the early participants in the atom process it's likely they're aware
of it.  I do recall them dragging their feet somewhat on fixing some old RSS
bugs too.  Let's hope it's quicker this time around.

We also encourage site publishers to retain using their own domain URL when
publishing the feeds.  Using a third party for bandwidth backhaul is
certainly something many sites might want to consider.  But keep using your
own URL.  Third party sites have come and gone in the syndication realm.
Using your own URL guards against an outage causing you to lose subscribers.
Using temporary redirects is essential for this.
