I agree. Handle indicates the sometrhing to grab and move to alter a
value, i.e. the handles on the side of the duck. So I think calling the
duck control point and the handles on the side of this handles would be
clear and easy to understand.

For Bline I think Shape (or vector shape) is easily and fast understood
by users. Bline, Spline requires some reasing to understand what it is
and then some more reading for reminding yourself when you've forgotten.
Shape is immediately understood. Curve has many other implications. Like
curve of action for animators.

I saw that import was added in the chart so here's my view on that.
Import is misleading. In other applications import means to import,
place a copy of something in the current document. In Synfig import
links to the original file, not importing at all. I've ranted about this
earlier on the forums. http://synfig.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=3426

Also as Konstantin pointed out before
"We are not introducing new concepts, we just introducing new
terminology. And that's not lead to any changes in the way how Synfig
behave."

Absolutely. This discussion got stopped at terminology change. Perhaps a
new discussion is needed for a workflow review. How does Synfig work? Is
it efficient? Is it intuitive?
There are many threads on the forum discussing this.
Perhaps a round table discussion would be useful for a collective take
on all aspects of this?
