Nora, thanks so much for posting the information about the Russian website 
with the notation for transposed warps.  My first thought was that we 
should arrange with the author to have this translated and put in the TWIST 
Journal!  Janis, what do you think?

I have never seen notation for this technique before.  I have woven a 
number of bands with crossed warps, and I love the effects.  There are 
photos of three of these bands on my website in the Teaching section under 
the workshop "Warp Textures and Crossed Warps" (the bottom section of the 
green band on the left, and the two bands on the right).

I also have two very beautiful bands woven by Alexia Smith in this 
technique. It has many interesting possibilities, and deserves a lot more 
exploration.
