Thanks, Nora, for the links to these interesting sites. I especially like the band from Tila. Also the traditional Russian bands pictured on the Paraskeva site, under "belts". I'd love to see more bands like these from Russia and elsewhere. Two years ago a group of us in the Bay Area took a workshop from Linda Hendrickson on warp textures & transposed warps. We experimented with a number of exciting ideas. Tranposed warps is one of my favorite techniques because it has such potential. Hope we'll be hearing more about this. Thanks again Nora!
