On this page, tkach is just a shortage for tkachestvo (weaving - the
process, not the fabric,  tkanie is another word for it ). This is the title
of the page.
But tkach could mean a weaver in some slavic languages. I am Czech and this
world
is not so often used (old) version of tkadlec (weaver). A is pronounced
long.
Tkan� na karetkach (destickach) is TW in Czech.

BTW In case you fail to get a translation of the page from another
source...:-) ...I had to study Russian in school for 8 years (it was
oligatory from 5th grade for all pupils in Czech until the fall of communism
in 1989). I haven't used this language since, but could understand all on
this page, so I could translate it for Twist journal - with someone to
correct my English :-) and not sooner than September :-(
