Hi Tom, I'm not sure precisely what you mean when you say you deleted apps from the GW Micro folder. Do you mean that you went into the folder where Window-Eyes is installed, that is, backslash Program Files (x86) backslash GW Micro backslash Window-Eyes and deleted them from there? Or are you saying you deleted them from the Add/Remove apps dialog which you open from the Apps menu in the Window-Eyes control panel, under App Management ? Or are you saying you simply deleted them from the Window-Eyes profile folder? Or, finally, are you saying you disabled them from the Window-Eyes App Manager, arrive at from the Apps Menu, under App Management, in the Window-Eyes control panel.? Incidentally, the latter is the best since it is the simplest option.

Yesterday I went into the GW Micro folder and deleted a bunch of apps and eventually got Window-Eyes to at least start without immediately shutting down. I think I'll just uninstall Window-Eyes, reinstall it and then disable the ones causing the trouble as you suggested. Oh, for the days of simple set files!
